Details:

The locking mechanism on the end cap is intact. Although my F5 is long gone, this was backup battery holder and powered the camera normally when used. Looking at the end cap, right side is broken off and there a also small piece on left that. The tray that holds batteries is not damaged.

This is a very well used Nikon MS-30 AA battery holder for F5 film camera bodies. There is some damage to this item, but it does not affect its usability. It comes with the case that Nikon supplied. Its not pretty though.

Please look carefully at the photos. The damage is to the end cap that locks into compartment on camera unit slides.
